Summary

The 7-paged document presents the summary of the 59th session of the `World Customs Organization's Policy Commission from of June 23rd - 25th 2008. Confidential Document of the WCO Advisory Body Discussing IP ("intellectual property") Enforcement via customs offices. Meeting was held 23-24 June. Document leaked by a Member State unhappy about the plan to use customs offices to enforce Intellectual Property Rights. Any one interested in freedom and privacy and fight against Hollywood and Big Pharma to take these freedoms away in the name of IPR will be interested in this document. WCO is moving fast to impose these controls, so it should be published soon.
